G'day, Pogs. Yes, I have spoken with Mr Gerard ...and found him a most impressive individual - clear-headed & assured, well-connected & business-minded (as one might expect of a former Executive Chairman & CEO of one of Australia?s leading firms) ...and well aware of the exciting possibilities in this industry.
I'd certainly gauge him up to the job!
And I believe he WILL consider extending his incumbency if the present term is successful.
Encouragingly too, in sync with many posters round here, I gather our new CEO is mindful of the need to more forcefuly make the 'business case' for Company develepments in future announcements.
So when the newsflow does resume (shortly, I hope) I believe we MAY expect more guidance numbers in the mix.
The technological (r)evolution - from fixed-line/desktop to mobile - doesn't stop just because of a tsunami in Japan.
