Gadaffi has run into the trap set for him and his army. They can't go forward and they will be stopped from going back to Tripoli. They will be picked off in the desert away from civilians, remember the Iraq retreat from Kuwait,mass slaughter. The tanks and artillery will run out of fuel and ammunition and guerrilla warfare will grind them down. Gadaffi will also run out of money to pay the mercenaries as their demands rise. Tripoli airstrips will be made unoperational, although the fighter aircraft are in poor repair so may ground themselves. Libyan pilots also only fly in daylight because they cannot navigate back in the dark.Egypt could do with some oilfields so may 'drift' over the border.
