I started to write fairy tales over 18 months ago and whilst I claim no copy rightI ask only that your fairies do their research.

My fairies tend to concur with some of what you've written but your initial tryst on this forum sounded like a major thrust to bring JW back.

May fairies wonder.....you wrote...

-MD has been in the job for seven years suddenly leaves.

My fairies believe he was asked to leave because of many issues... they read the ASX and report as follows

...JW wrote that production was due to start NOV 2009.
...JW wrote it was due to start a bit late in Dec, then Jan
...JW sold off highly touted resources for a pittance
...JW issued himself 6.25 million shares at 8cents while the lowest price for the month was 12cents
...JW sold millions of shares at 35-37cents Dec 2009
...JW issued options and more shares, diluting long term shareholders by 50%
...JW reported great reviews for Zeta and then sold it
...JW reported great reviews for Narnoo and then sold it
...JW signed of the Ore Reserve Jorc
...JW dismissed many senior geologists and mine managers etc who questioned him. They were reported in the ASX announcements and are no more... quietly left.. now vote of thanks for their great work.
...JW had 60 people on site
...JW controlled the assembly of the mill
...JW selected WATPAC although smaller equipment with more skilled operators was required
...JW decided to put the mill at Beta when others said put it at Alpha
...JW announced 15000 tonnes of high grade ore on the ROM that's approx 2000 oz where did it go?
...JW announced the SUPERGENE whilst my fairy friends told me it was many meters under and waterlogged
...The 5B reports whilst JW was MD are shown to be inaccurate with $millions of hidden creditors. These creditor amounts didn't just happen after he departed.

...ALMOST 12 months before he left there were questions about the number of drill holes and their depth and the Cork Tree Well resource.
...The sale of resources seemed to be at fire-sale prices

From Dec 2009 for 4-5 months JW issued no information about the fact the company was out of cash and the mill was not functioning. The gear ring was reversed, the tanks overflowed.....etc etc they were in dispute with the company installing it......

The first announcement of a gold pour was effectively 1 days production.

I suspect that the current management believed the resource figures .... 4g/tonne and figured that once they tightened up on what was dug and got the mill reconfigured and running at its peak that they could pay the creditors and get out of jail.

BUT it seems THERE WAS NO 4g/tonne at Beta (lest wise maybe in small samples) and the HIGH GRADE ORE that JW had on the ROM was mainly dirt or if there were other issues ...he was MD and it's in his control.

-An 'internal review' announced March 3rd
-finds fault with the geological information provided by former MD who hasn't been around for the past 6 months
-This sensational announcement which is almost without precedent maybe blame game.

My Fairies say THE DIRECTORS had been told about the doubts with the ore reserve long time passing BUT should they believe JW or some "disgruntled geo or resource manager". Well they backed their MD till it became apparent that the problems were not being addressed.

-apparently the 'reputable' geo undertaking the review turns out to be someone JW had sacked

WHICH GEO IS REPUTABLE JW or the one you refer to above?
