Tiger,
Firstly many thanks for taking the effort to post. I have to say that it is infinitely better than the drivel that 99% of the misguided posts on here represent. Unlike some others on here, you certainly appear to be relying on your own research before you invested.
However, I still am none the wiser on PIE. I do appreciate your posts but the real question is why should I invest in PIE over other similarly priced companies, especially where the other companies offer truly disruptive technology, with greater upside, far less downside, 100x the revenue, increasing revenues at 25%pa, over 100 employees, cashed up, cornerstone investors, major blue chip customers for already commercialized products and solutions, proven and high profile management, extremely high margins, recurring revenue streams, broker coverage, proposed NASDAQ listings and so on?
I'm a numbers man and nothing which you have written is quantifiable and boils down to nothing more than a leap of faith. A counter argument to this would be "but it's a speculative stock and this is normal". That may be. However, on a peer comparison, I still cannot justify why I should invest in this company.
No I am not looking to ramp other stocks here. However, I am looking for a very good reason as to why PIE is a better prospect or investment. I will not bring up TZL again as some here seem to feel threatened. However, I am quite happy to compare these stocks on the TZL thread. This should tell you that I am only looking for debate/discussion
Thanks for that link about the US biotech stock story. It is a most interesting story but I believe ultimately has no relevance to PIE.
I genuinely hope one for all PIE shareholders that PIE are hugely successful, as I am aware at how much angst can be caused by waiting a speculative stock's 'pay day'.
I'll leave you all with one very important lesson that I've learned over the years. And that is that investing is all about comparisons eg why buy an investment property if the bank gives a better return? Or why put money in the bank if bonds give a better return? The same applies to stocks. Why invest in one company (no matter how appealing) if there is another which offers a better return at less risk?
