    agreed jellin,

    there is always such incredible unfounded criticism of the younger generations by the older

    quite frankly i find the older generations to be generally poorly educated and as thick as two planks and the younger generations better informed on just about everything

    both my parents own or have owned many houses and wouldnt know the first thing about investing in general

    to them houses prices go up in a straight line above the rate of inflation, they dont know anything else, in fact I doubt my father even knows that property has fallen in price anywhere in the world

    lucky for him he sold out when he retired a few years ago. I wont be surprised though if my mothers capital gain expectations upon retirement are going to be an eye opener for her
