They've totally failed Australia on so many fronts it is a tragedy.

Bring back temporary protection visas, all new arrivals genuine or not can only get one of these, they need to stay absolutely clean for 5 full years after being allowed on the mainland, ANY crime or failure to comply with our laws means the visa is stripped and the person is returned to their original country.
