JC - yeah right, I'll read that and every other several hundred page report out there and stop sleeping and eating to do so. Maybe I can give up my day job as well. I have responded to the extract you posted. That was fair wasn't it? They seem to have botched that bit up. Is the rest of it any better? Can you summarise the important bits for us? I simply do not have time to read a 168 page report from these guys. I spent a lot of time going through that Quadrant article and that was not time well spent because it was full of misleading and deceptive information. Why would this be any different?

Seden - fair enough. Climate change has thrown Al Gore and Tim Flannery some curve balls. Seems like snow is here to stay, probably due to the extra water vapour in the atmosphere because of higher global temperatures. Maybe the models never predicted this and maybe they need to be refined again and again, as they are doing. A newer model proved the floods in the UK and Wales in 2000 were exacerbated due to climate change. We all know the planet is getting hotter. Just because it is snowing on Mt Kilimjaro does not in any way shape or form suggest that human induced climate change is not happening. Glaciers are still retreating, sea level is rising, extreme weather events are happening more often and I still have to work to do and taxes to pay so see you later, for now.
