Being very new to the Stock market (less than 12 months) I was fortunate to buy Caltex shares at 8.83 (June 2004)
Since that time I have watched them steadily increase in value and also received a dividend. Last week I sold (against my better judgement) at 12.60.(43% return) They then released 2004 profit figures of 458m compared to 208m in 2003. I repurchased at 13.80. They have a PE of 6.81 (ridiculously low) and have earnings of 2.12 per share. Compare this with CBA which has earnings per share of 2.42 and a PE of 14.84. I think CTX is very undervalued even at 14.44 (Last price). I hope it gets hammered some more so I can buy more!
