There is a plan by Green Rock Energy (GRK) to put a well down 3000mt beneath the University of Western Australia for which the GT 3000 is uniquely suited because it has the small footprint that said bentley drivers would demand of a major drilling exercise in their front yard. UWA is spacious and leafy but there will be a need to be very low impact compared to anything else that could get down 3000 metres. GRK has $7 million from the feds and $5.4 mil from WA govt to do this work.........

Have a look at the presentation GRK released yesterday to the ASX, tells the UWA story from slides 15 onwards. But there are plenty of approvals to get and issues to deal with yet, so while I think this job is almost certainly going to be a CKK job in the medium term, in the very near future I suspect this rig is going to be looking for gas, but also likely to be quite near Perth.
