The US is now able to intervene in the affairs of dictatorships where it choses. We have no idea about the 'rebels', we only get what CNN and the BBC chose to show.
The BBC and CNN are using adjective laden descriptions in their newsreports in support of the plucky, brave freedom fighters, sounds like BS to me.
