You had me going too defabs,

I couldnt read anything in that for the CNP price to jump

Unless people have misread this paragraph

"Impact on net tangible assets ? As at 31 December 2010 CNP had net tangible assets attributable to members of negative $2.43. The 1.3% discount plus transaction costs will result in a reduction in net tangible assets attributable to members of $0.08 per security. This would cause net tangible assets attributable to members to move to negative $2.51.
The US sales contract contains conditions customary for a transaction of this nature"

and think that CNP now has an NTA of $0.08, you wouldnt think that would be the case, but people are having difficulty getting their heads around the whole picture.

Was this circular out during trading hours, do CNP holders think they can force a better outcome by voting no

Unfortunately CNP holders are being bent over a barrel, but at least now they get a choice, do they want their rogering either with or without vaseline. Nothing or not much(maybe nothing), hardly a choice really.

US centres it appears are sold, its now just the seagull bankers left to fight over who gets the last few chips, and if they are going leave any crunchy bits behind

    cheers grant

the above is opinion only and written without prejudice
