As tragic as it is, many coal miners die working in coal mines, it is an occupational risk, especially in China where they seem to be lacking in basic safety precautions. Hope they take a different approach towards their nuclear power stations. The point I am making is when an accident occurs at a coal mine, my family in their home as well as most of the community near the mine are not placed at risk for years to come. This can't be said if the local nuclear power plant has an accident.
