I wish I had your level of ignorance to what really is going on behind the scenes. Your gullible assertions that only the big polluters are going to pay is laughable bordering on stupidity.
The fact is it will firstly be a Carbon Price (Tax) that will continue to rise every year without fail.
Then it's going to be changed to an ETS where carbon derivatives will be traded just like oil, gold and silver.
Once an ETS is in place the price of carbon will be manipulated just like these other markets that will see sharp rises in the price of carbon that will balloon the average households electricity bill to extrodinary levels.
That is also not taking into consideration the effect on other essentials such as food, petrol etc. Now do you really honestly believe that the big polluters are not going to pass this on to the end user?
Also it has already been promised to the UN and again this fact that 10% of the funds from the tax will go to them.
Now tell me Eagle, how does this fit in line with Julia's comments that the whole tax will go back to compensating lower income households? How is it meant to change behaviour if it's going to have no net effect on their pockets? What decrease in temperature will we see from this tax?

You seem to get hung up on every little comment on here it's unbelievable. Like a broken record round and round you go talking the same rubbish with your holier than now attitude.
