Who has been saying $5.50 is a number :-)

You can assume for that sort of dosh, $25M, they had their in-house gurus crawling ALL over the data from the data room! Even allowing for all the risk of construction delays, cost over runs, below design performance risk etc etc,,,its all risk ZZzzzz will be pointing out endlessly for the next 20 moths...BUT...these guys just forked out $25M!!

For all the risk factors I pointed out and more, what price appreciation must they be looking for? I have no idea but I would LOVE to see their spreadsheet assumptions. They must be assuming multiples greater than two for what they paid!

I don't want to accused of counting the nuggets before they are in the pan, but it sends a signal to the other parties in discussions yet to sign. There is not only the impact of the cash, but a lot of "face" credibility at stake for the HK fund here.

I forgot to bring this point up earlier, but another reason for this release now, is that all the other parties now know there are other parties though they may not know who they are, but can see the comfort of someone else chipping in the cash. This is a strategic move by CDU to say.."train whistle blowin'. We are moving from the station..all aboard".

If the ann has the desired effect it should sort the men from the tyre kickers and windbags. Hopefully someone is on the platform ready to get aboard - we will see soon enough.

IF, I say if, the remaining agreements are workman-like, don't need to be spectacular, local instos here will very soon have to be dipping in their toes. Especially as the JORC update (maybe) and the ML certainly sometime, also get tabled. (I say JORC update maybe because once all the deals are completed I am not sure if CDU needs to or is compelled to have an update. Someone may have a more informed comment here).

Wouldn't be dead for quids. Or more up to date "..totally".
