ok, we are coming to the point of disagreement. These two components have a common theme: the former affects the planet and all life on it. Admittedly "climate change" is just one event, there are other events that are happening do affect the planet and all or some life on it. The corporates' intention may be based on commercial interests, but, the way I see it, Earth needs all the help it can get, including assistance of awareness from our corporate citizens.
"deceitful" and "despicable" are too strong a description to apply on them
