I forgot to mention that MEL's Casino operations office think highly of the nearby ROG mob. I believe they are frequent visitors.

In regards to a question from me re a takeover/JV with MEL's neighbors (Arrow/Shell/ROG) Mr DJ emailed back that "MEL is the dominant player in the basin. The other players have smaller marginal territory. We may come to terms with them eventually, but because we are so far more advanced, MEL can plan to build and therefore will control the infrastructure."

You analysed BOW. It may interest you that he also wrote: "Mssrs Bizzell, Mather and Prefontaine (ie BOW) are much better promoters than we are whether or not that means their objectives are more deliverable is another thing."

Is ROG's gas dry? If it is they may well be using MEL's technique (which they were very reluctant to divulge) of drilling using compressed air rather than water.

Those moaning and groaning about the languishing share price or it's gotta be worth X doesn't move the market one iota. Right now - right or wrong - it doesn't believe the CSG gas story.

For what it's worth (maybe nothing), Macquarie Bank analysts believe that less than 10 (ten) CSG companies will survive to monetise/commercialise their gas (2 of these are MEL & ESG) and they all have the same small power station strategies.
To my knowledge, ROG doesn't have this strategy. I only bought in small (on ROG) because of it's proximity to Kingfisher and am only in for the ride (no idea when that will be)

There is a lot hanging on LNG and Fisherman's landing.
ROG posters would be well advised to watch closely MEL & LNG news.
