You seem to have missed the point.
The point being that we only have a problem today, because what happened more than 2000 years ago is little understood.
Eg The IPCC takes a stand that 280ppm is the earths equilibrium point and historically there was little variation, which is an assumption that is widely contested.
CO2 levels today are seen as high because the ice cores show lower historical levels of CO2 trapped in air bubbles in the ice. The reason ice cores have low levels of CO2 is due to the reasons I outlined previously.
The relevance to the dinosaurs is that some proxies indicate CO2 levels as high as 1,000-2000ppm during this era. The era of gigantic plants and gigantic animals. In direct contradiction to the purported mass extinction we are bringing on ourselves there seems direct evidence that higher temperatures and higher CO2 levels in fact promote, foster and sustain growth.
I don't intend to be dragged into the subject further. Suffice to say the IPCC is highly selective of its assumptions and conclusions, the 'science' isn't nearly as conclusive as they would pretend.
