**aussie gold producers to go bust?**, page-11

I raised this issue because I wanted to see the degree of negativity. I was not surprised. It was what I expected.

There is so much negativity about gold, the future Australian and US dollar price, the future prospects for Australian producers etc. that gold shares must be near their bottom and a good buy.

Saying that any Australian producer or prospective producer cannot be purchased. I would also like to see a local producer have good gold mining and gold exploration prospects overseas, not just relying on their Australian prospects unless it is an absolute elephant.

I don't think there are too many of them around. Eg. I am a bit dubious about BDG and their inferred resources of millions of ounces. Unless you have indicated or measured reserves, horrible, unexpected things can happen once you start mining
