The key words are ".. valued at .." and those words are open to all sorts of interpretation. Right now, the assets of the CNP are drastically undervalued and impaired. And there are lots of interested parties wanting to buy it at that depressed level. Unfortunately those running the ship at CNP are willing to sell it at that level without consulting with the real owners - its shareholders. They are also using fear and scare tactics as motivation ie here is some bread crumbs. If you don't take it, you may get nothing!!

Why invest in a negative NTA company and expect no downside? Hajji, have you bought a positive NTA company and lost money? I have invested in a negative NTA company previously and the gains were ... just breath taking. hee, hee
