Optum Ltd has signed a two year partnership agreement with Overture
Services to distribute pay-per-click advertising on Optum's Ansearch
search engine.
From March 31, Ansearch will join Overture's Australian
distribution network which currently includes Yahoo Australia & NZ,
Ninemsn, Fairfax Digital, News Interactive, Mooter, OptusNet and
Ozemail.
Optum says Ansearch is Australia's newest search engine.
Launched in October 2004 and still in its development phase,
Ansearch has attracted a growing user base and is ranked the 12th most
popular search engine in Australia (during February) according to online
measurement company Hitwise.
Optum shares traded steady at 0.5c on Friday.
