I spoke to PL minutes ago and put it to him "what are the chances of a capital raising?" his reply was "zero chance." Well PL is the same person that said the BFS is "imminent" for the last 15-18months.
Also the same PL that has made numerous calls that has never met its timeframe.
With others that are talking "imminent deals with whoever on the table" lets just say that if something was going to happen within the next week or two then the share price would be moving North with higher than normal volume trading.
If I am wrong and there is no capital raising and there is a Anglo/Xstrata JV then I can watch the share price movement and probably trade this anyway.
One point which my broker stressed is that what would you do as a MD if you have about 3-4 months capital (say 6 months maximum) and a large deal is uncertain ... you try and raise money. Its simple.
I did stress out that a capital raising has not been finalised nor has it been conirmed. However I do believe my broker as up to date his calls with Nkwe has been spot on. He liquidated most of my position on the opening day after it relisted but I still hold a little portion. He still left me a small holding in case that a placement is substituted with a Share Purchase Plan.
If shareholders believe that NKP is going to head North please go ahead and buy the shares. I am happy to wait on the sidelines at the moment. If capital raising is on the line then I will consider to go in again via this avenue. If there is a JV or something substantial announced then I am happy to enter at 40,50,60c or whatever the share price may be then ... especially if certain risks are mitigated.
Good Luck to all who hold
