Perhaps if they used the correct word, of which there are quite a number to describe what happened at and as a result of Fukushima, and stopped calling it a crisis, it might help.

Crisis: A crucial or decisive point or situation; a turning point.

Terrible though it is, it isn't a crisis when a plane crashes killing everyone on board and those it crashed into (which, if you added it up over the years would account for many multiples of those killed by nuclear accidents). It wasn't a crisis when down the road from the Fukushima nuclear plant the oil refinery collapsed (and why do we hear nothing of the ecological damage that is doing?) In fact when the tsunami hit the safest place to be was in the nuclear plant.

There are still over well over 400 nuclear plants in the world. They take 10 years and more to build, and cost not millions, but billions each. Nobody is going to simply close them down, whatever they might be saying. They could not be replaced in any reasonable period by coal, gas, or oil even if there were the will to do it -- and there isn't.

Nothing has chaged. What we need is a bit of education, particularly in the media.
