    Thanks for contributing to the BLR thread. Your post jogged my memory banks concerning cost and timeframes.

    I was reading an article on bloomberg a while back (6 months, thereabouts ), which indicated that the Chinese, because they were building alot of the Westinghouse AP 1000 reactors . . . . . would within a few short years have the build time down to 3.9 years and cost down to 2.8 billion dollars each, because of duplication and economies of scale.

    Sorry I can't find the link at this stage, I think it is buried in a post of mine from last year . . . . will look for it on the weekend if I have time.
