re: ++++ news article today ++++++ There is a train of thought emerging that the Phase II trial was poorly planned. The optimum dosage had been established to be in the lower range prior to the trial. It is thought that a trial dosing patients A) 1mg per day, B) 2 x 1mg per day and C) 3 x 1mg per day would have produced far more spectacular results over the 1mg once a day only dosage.
The thinking is, that as the product interferes with digestion a 3 mg or above dose is delf-defeating, as it gets digested prior to having any effect. The 1mg dose 3 times a day would prevent that and show a better result than the 1mg dose.
This thinking was recently pointed out to MBP.
