Hi Jako, I don't really use the scanners within the program, I may use one of them though and that scans a folder of stocks against their index, which is good cause it finds the stronger or weak stocks within their (strong) trending index ie. MSB within the XMM, and it's quite easy to setup
But I mainly find long prospects from strong stocks that retrace heavily for whatever reason, I'll then place them in a watchlist to be observed for VSA principles and trade accordingly, that's intraday as well as EOD
You'll find much better scanners within basic charting programs than is available within this
This is really the only program that I've ever used, but if there was another charting package out there that displayed crisp clean accurate volumes and price bars ( without the open tick of course :), I wouldn't hesitate in trying them cause this one now is only available thru lease arrangements ie. not cheap, but I was fortunate to purchase it before those arrangements arrived
in saying that they have heaps of new features on the drawing board, but if you have a charting program that you are happy with the volume bars, price bars and you understand VSA there's no need to spend anymore for an EOD user, hope this helps
