boysy1, yes agree the main outcome of the drill should be known by now.

from what little I have read about vietnam oil production, there is some time limit for foriegn companies to exploit the resource before permit reverts back to vietnam government ownership - it might be 4 years.

this basis then if the clock starts ticking as soon as field is commercial, then it would be in operators best interest to not disclose to much information to soon as just 2 weeks oil production at the end of the time limit would be quite a lot of money they would miss out on.

the longer the updates takes then the more oil is there is there. meanwhile sp has gained a bit of traction and that may make it hard for you to buy back in on the cheap.
