Yes, it's almost as if Ms Gillard had all this planned a long time ago.
1. Tell Rudd to forget ETS 2. Promise faithfully that she was not interested in leadership. 3. Take Rudd by surprise and knife him in the middle of the night 4. Give the people categorical election promise of no carbon tax in her government. 5. Reneg on election promise 6. Take all the glory for taxing the people with a tax that the majority don't want which is pretty much confirmed by her refusal to put it to an election before imposing it.
At least that's how it looks and pretty nasty career aspirations if the above is even remotely near the truth.
