There seems to be a lack of knowledge that a $ price per ton is one method of pricing IO and cents per dmtu another.
They are not the same!
Please RVINTL, knowing that you have 25+ years in mining that you love to tell us all about, show us where SDL have ever used a figure of $0.65 per ton? Ridiculous number.
The current estimated long term price used to calculate the NPV is 105c/dmtu which is not far from the US$63 per ton used previously.
One thing to note that the NPV of the project is over $4B. That is NET present value, on today's dollars. My calc has the project valued on a share basis as >$4B / 2.7 billion
>$1.48 per share. That is before a finance deal, so will eagerly await that deal to work out our diluted NPV per share.
