A put option is an option to sell. It does NOT need to be exercised. It is an option that is all. Funny that, market was bagging AYN a few months ago as it did not have any production hedged to guarantee a floor price. After the announcement, price rocketed to 8.6 cents over the course of a few days.

Now that there is a guaranteed floor price, they are trying to scare people into selling to them cheap. FWIW, I would never trust anyone on that show. They all have their own agendas which I suppose is the same with everyone here also.
