i should clarify my statements re: I/O prices
I tend to think there are a few catalysts that will keep I/O prices up, at least in AUD.
1. demand from Japan, India, China, etc
2. AUD being a natural hedge in the event of global eco. issues
3. generalised inflation everywhere
IFE has it's own hedge in that their product is superior quality, therefore SHOULD continue to attract customers in any event.
As far as prices are concerned, i dont think we will see a massive drop off in I/O value, certainly not for a few years. IFE is well positioned to benefit from these high prices.
IFE really just need to prove to the market that they are going to achieve their goals, and on time. Reiterating to the market their incremental progress will help achieve this, as well selling the story to every man and his dog.
I am hopeful of contacting Ian soon, so I'll post any feedback here.
cheers!
