re: .......i'm in abuman The area around Burbanks has a rich but 'poddy' nature.
On the odd occassion the metallurgy can be difficult, but the grades more than compensate.
Tonnage has always been a problem for operators around Coolgardie-Coolgardie Gold back in the 80's and 90's (at the Greenfields(?) plant now owned by Barminco), Herald at various deposits with the exception of Three Mile Hill itself which gave good minelife (even though the ore was tough/hard), New Hampton on their various deposits.
ATX have had some nice hits in the area more recently, but even those do not appear to hang together that well and would appear to offer only limited tonnage potential.
The Barra drilling has thrown up great grades, unfortunately over modest widths. Conversely they appear to commence at very shallow depths and the Barminco guys are some of the better operators around.
Would be surpised if you finish up with more than 120,000 ounces (probably less than 100,000 going by the guidance provided in recent releases discussing the drilling programme.)
It will probably not make the company , but it should throw out good cash flow-too early in the programme to even comprehend any sort of figures/guesstimates.
The area has been probably looked at harder than anywhere else on the Eastern Goldfields in terms of exploration-looks like a job well done by the geos. (This is near the first discovery of gold in the West-only a few kms from Hannans Find-and the well ramped Londonderry Deposit)
