"Every culture wants to preserve their culture, we are no different"

    ---

Hi Sypaladin, what exactly is our culture? I luv eating rat coffins & drinking beer at the footy on Saturdays but I dont have a huge need for my neighbours to copycat me.

    Good morning CGT,

Hmmmm! what can I say, I will have a go.

Being a young civilised country of just over 200yrs of mixed races of immigrants, we don't have a strong culture like older civilisations. We have a blend of cultures from all over the world. None wanting to take over the other. All happy to work in peace, making no demands over others.

    All became Australians,including some Muslims.

Just because we don't have a strong culture, which even you can't identify, until you lose it,means we want a strong one to take over us, because we have a lay back, it will be alright mate attitude.Which we are being taken advantage off.

The world has changed with the internet and airlines.

We need to protect what we have,or we will lose it..

Prevention is better than cure. What I have seen overseas in other countries, and how the few Muslims refugees here hold our laws in contempt. No wonder I want to live here happily with out them.

The are plenty of non Muslim refugees if you want a feel good moment, that we could take here that would not change our lay back culture .

Surely it's our choice ,not theirs who we let in.

Why give them permanent residency so soon.Give them a temporary visa until we find out who they really are.

If no papers give them back to UN refugee camps to swap for ones that have.

    off out, catch you later,

    cheers,

    sypaladin
