I think Ted Butler seems to have a little more credibility than some of the more extreme silver advocates, so I took him at his word with the 5:1 ratio

Maybe all the Ebay sellers of gold are trying to upgrade to silver ;).

I didnt mean to come across too hard on gold, was just highlighting/questioning the disparity between the two.

When I said 1:1 ratio in the longer term I should have emphasised long longer term, but if silver runs out and there is still gold around market forces will have to prevail. There was a 1:1 ratio back in the ancient Egyptian days, no real reason it cant happen again.

Just trying to create a little harmless mania.... :)
