If that's the case then I wish we had been told how valuable the OIP CSG assets are!!!
DC some time ago said during a presentation that ESG deliberately did not include any more of the leases than Gastar had (i.e. they didn't include any of the northern leases for instance) in the JV with Santos because it was strategically important for ESG to "control" those northern leases if their gas were to flow north to Qld. So the OIP leases are "valuable" to ESG in that way as well as any csg they may hold.
That's why some of us are postialting that ESG will want to frustrate any move to wrest control of OIP from any ESG friendly management. And if they want to re-acquire OIP they won't want dilution.
