Excellent post Tretch, I enjoyed your comparison of the main ASX RE stocks. In fact lots of good posts on this thread.

I subscribe to the Dines Letter, James Dines being the self proclaimed original RE bug (yeah..whatever mate). In the latest 8/4/11 issue he is super bullish on RE's even after the Japan disaster. In fact REO prices have gone up significantly since then in an accelerated uptrend. I'm not at liberty to reproduce any part of the publication, but as noted by others, Light REO's have gone up by a lot more than Heavy REO's. Dy 653%, Nd 1,298%, La 6,781%, Ce 8,937%. Perhaps the HREE have some catching up to do, but maybe it says more about the higher demand for some of these different elements.

The main point Dines is making is that "this will be one of the biggest bull markets in history". Also, the RE mining stocks have risen much less than the REO prices, but the continued upward pressure of the rising value of the orebodies suggests that there should be upside breakouts across the sector above the congestion areas of recent months.
