announcement out - capital raising, page-40

It would be extremely surprising a deal has been done or is close or that the raising is directly related to it, otherwise the announcement would have mentioned something about it. Why would the board and SM open themselves up to the strong criticism they are deservedly getting by announcing a raising without a shred of info about the deal?

To me the raising points not to an imminent deal, but the opposite unfortunately and we have been taked for a ride...
