    Part Three cont.
    The volcanic/sandstone comparison shows these nice features of sandstone wells;
    * Good initial flow rates(10 to 350bopd). (Thats good? - well,yes it is. And what does that make 550 in the F layer and more in the G layer ??)
    * Medium recovery rates( 50kbbl to 500kbbl)
    * Low decline rates
    * Long production life
    * Low maintenance wells
    *easily mapped on 3d seismic

    3.On 15.4.010 CVN issued,to shareholders not the world at large,a Thai update.It advised of 5 wells drilled so far in 2010;27 likely for the year; single rig in use; the word sandstones appears nowhere in the update.
    4.On 30.4.010 the March Q report goes through the stuff in "3"- no mention of "sandstones" any where.Nowhere does it state a definite intention to drill at WB much less give advice of an upcoming 4-well programme at WB which would target both types of drills,even both types at the same time.
    HOWEVER there is one key paragraph that is very interesting in this report- "Consideration is being given to contracting a 2nd rig to target the significant exploration potential that is currently undrilled in L44 (that WB) and L33". This seems to be an early warning of what happens 3 months later.
    5.29.7.010. CVN announces that WB1 is flowing at 2500bopd from the volcanics. It also says "The targets of this exploration well were the proven oil-bearing zones of the WB F and G sandstone reservoirs and the underlying volcanic targets. Elevated mud gas readings in 50 metre and 30 metre intervals corresponded to the F and G layers..."
