Hi Lapdog,
Well done, at least you also walk the walk and don't just talk the talk.
I'm not too interested in "facts" & figures about climate change to be honest, there are those on both sides of the argument that can easily falsify information, or twist things to suit their needs.
My personal opinion is that any air pollution isn't good for any carbon based lifeform, and should be reduced where possible as technologies improve. However, I don't believe that this pollution is irreparably damaging our atmosphere, and I've seen no proof that man-made C02 emissions have had any irreversible effect on our planet or our atmosphere that can be believed. Nature can't be beaten by humans and will always find a way.
Taxing people under the guise of saving the planet is simply an easy way for governments to steal more money from the people. In Labor's case it's so they can continue wasting it on useless projects that are destined to fail. Their record speaks for itself.
Anyway all this is probably a waste of time, the ridiculous carbon tax being dishonestly imposed on us by Gillard will be squashed by the Coalition.
Abbott has said "We will oppose it in opposition, we will rescind it in government".
