    i have to agree with the above poster, i used AVG for several years until about 2009 when they did a major program update.....it then became too much like norton, memory hungry

    i then switched to Avira for a year or so, and more recently have changed to Microsoft Security Essentials

    i consider it to be the best free antivirus at present, and i have used many over the years

    also agree that the combination of Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes is the best current protection for your PC.....i use the free version of Malwarebytes however
