SONGEA PROJECT (Ni) SW TANZANIA - AN UPDATE ON EXPLORATION ACTIVITIES
Highlights
? An airborne electromagnetic (?EM?) survey and a stream sediment geochemical survey completed prior to 2010 identified a number of high priority targets for follow up.
? Exploration work completed in the second half of 2010 has confirmed that several of the EM conductor targets are coincident with Ni-Cu soil geochemical anomalies.
? The EM conductors and soil anomalies are associated with prospective geology that is known from outcrop sampling to contain nickel sulphide minerals.
? Priority targets are drill ready and further follow-up work is planned for the next quarter.
