re: Ann: RiverCity Motorway Group - Extension... Hi, there was discussion of RCY on today's BRR Roundtable (15 April, 2011). As a retail investor, I think the likelihood of getting any return on my investment is extremely remote - given institutions preference shares getting the first cut of anything returned. However I have recently been heartened by the Federal Court extension until 2012, as this gives the Brisbane Airport connection time to be completed and potentially traffic flows to incease through Clem 7. In short, could retail shareholders have some hope? however astronomically slim, of getting something back on their investment?
Anyway, just my thoughts. Not a debate on the merits of the tunnel, private-public investment model etc.
Would be interested in other investors opinions.
