Thanks Montalv for your comments - it's interesting to hear the view of someone over there.
Humala received about 31% of the vote I have read so I figured that there is a good chance that he will not get through if the unsuccessful centre right candidate's voters were to go against humala - which you would expect to be the case. I did not know about 'the bank' though.
Why do people hate the other candidate though?
I have read some of his old interviews and they were extreme. I agree with you that someone can't change his views that quickly.
If the elections go ok then I think Strike will have a great next two to Three years.
