how many you hold is only relevant to each individual circumstances.
20k is peanuts for some but life changing for others.
smart your 60k could become 200k by the end of the year and if the gods allow and we find oil in puntland, georgia, together with already producing Trinidad and Texas coupled with offshore punty jv then its possible for your 60k to be worth 700k plus.
i lost a fortune going back some years on a business deal gone bad and have had to start all over again.
its not until you don't have it that you realize how difficult it is to acquire.
what seemed like nothing to me then seems like a fortune to me now.
2 years ago i decided to start to all over again and chose the share market full time to do it in.
started of with 7k :) and have managed to live of the proceeds and accumulate a current asset of 150k after tax,
would have been more but the learning process has cost me somewhat.
my sp target for rrs is $1 if all goes to plan, that's when ill consider offloading half and letting the rest run.
i own 150,000 shares not much for some, but plenty enough for me to build my small fortune within the next few years.
im not sure on your circumstances but apart from my little dummy spit towards you a while back i consider you one of the most level headed, intelligent posters on here and in my favorites you are.
with your research, level headed, logic, rational and lack of emotional attachment you poses i see you going a very long way if your not already there.
thank you for your input in range and hope you continue to enlighten us with you thoughts.
