I have mentioned my concern at the discrepency between Bluegen units installed and installed capacity as shown on the Bluegen web site http://www.bluegen.net/home
At present it shows 42 units producing 44kw of electricity (installed capacity), thats around 1kw per bluegen when it should be 1.5kw per unit. The units installed varies from day to day, so what is happening, are they breaking down and beng replaced? Why is the average so low in terms of the optimum, spread over all the units some must be running at about .5kw and some at 1.5kw.
What is the point of the site if there is no method that those availing themselves of the information can measure the usefullness of the information. There needs to be a full explanation or more detailed information on how the figures are arrived at or shut it down.
There is no doubt in my mind that any unit installed is part of an ongoing work in progress on the viability and robustness of the CFU fuel cell including remote monitoring and operation.
