Good to see that you're behind the curve, and therefore not exactly up to date with what's been happening.

(Though I can't say I'm entirely surprised, with you being a non-holder and all)

Plucking some statements out of a September report is admirable, and perhaps the full extent of your meticulous research. Show me 100 companies that can keep to a definitive timeline and I'll show you 99 companies that fail to keep to that definitive timeline. One million and one things can, and often do, go astray.

Spanking a company on that basis is flawed in the extreme. In fact, if disappointment affects you to such a degree, it's amazing you or any other investor would even bother investing their money in the sharemarket.

If the company is guilty of anything it's overpromising and underdelivering (but not something deserving of a hanging offence).

I spoke to Kevin today (which is more than I can say for most shareholders, who prefer to wallow in self-pity and cite statements which for various reasons don't go according to schedule. Yes, it would be nice if everything proceeded in this way. Multimillion dollar projects, however, seldom do).

And I understand why some deals haven't transpired (but that doesn't mean a deal isn't close). If I came to you and said I'll buy half of your house now, I'll live in it rent-free for the next three years, and oh, by the way, I won't pay for this half of the house until I buy the next 25% of the house ....... let me see ........ FOR ANOTHER 5 YEARS!

Would you consider that a good deal? Don't think so.

The fact of the matter is, SHIP will proceed with or without Kevin. And you guys will have to find another punching bag to take out your frustrations on.

But allow me to give you a little heads-up:

Last November, 2010, Fairstar drilled an additional 216 holes (which as you know costs money). Samples have been delivered for analysis, and we await those results (this, if you've kept up to date with the industry, is true for most if not all mining companies).

The orebody, according to the geologist (this isn't me saying this) is open to the North, South and East (open is better than not, agreed?).

Engineeers are working on mine plans, mode of mining, process plan (screen washing of detritals), mining method; engineering the haul road from site to Randall rail siding, almost completed all the rail and sea tasks as well as most of the various licence applications.

And, yes, the company is still in talks with strategic partners.

The question is, why would Kevin give away the company for 12 pieces of silver?

Then again, why would someone who owns no shares in the company even care?
