great post but we do live in Australia incase you havent seen outside for a while.

Howver, you could say even in Australia lending policy has tightened hence less loan approvals hence less borrowirngs hence less sales of property, but Id probably be shot down coming up with such logical argument.

As with all investments, there are good and bad.

Take shares for example, during the GFC which investment lost near 50% on stocks?

You dont see housing do that in 4 weeks do you?

Watch as the commoditys drop continuously over the next 6 months, has already stareted,m, and dropped well below anything the housing ever will in Australia.

As for housing, im sure most of us on 30,50,80,100,200,300% returns arent too shaken by any pullback from thr absolute peak.

As for the 6% drop in one quarter, if you belive that youll belive anything.

There are many ways to present stats, and more expensive or cheaper hosues can well skew the figures, all I know is the morntagge is the same and the rental income is up on the previous 10 years year on year.

The rest is just white noise so to speak.
