"SYDNEY: Valad Property Group (ASX: VPG) today confirms that it has reached mutually agreed terms with Mr Peter Hurley on which he will cease employment with the Group with effect from today?s date. Mr Hurley will retire as a director of all Group companies."

The last sentance "will retire as a director", this makes no mention of the timing of when he will retire, is it possible this parasite will continue in a non executive role for a little longer?

I haven't seen any Appendix 3Z yet, VPG has 5 business days after a director resigns to inform the market of Final Directors Interest, and they haven't actually informed the market that he has resigned as a director, only that he "will retire as a director" no mention of when.
