So I emailed MEL. If what I received back is correct it is very deceptive reporting. The email that I received back said (paraphrasing) that MEL does not operate within the Kyogle shire and consequently this motion will not have an affect on MEL operations. It also said that MEL planned to start a major informational campaign in the next few weeks. I think it is needed as there are tow local newspapers who seem to have a vendetta up there.
Should be an interesting time ahead, with flow rates, potential reserves upgrade, potential FID and what seems like the start of a bit of momentum again in the sector.
Sinopec buying a stake in APLNG, MPO selling assets, STO looking like they will go to three trains, Japan asking the government for guaranteed supply of commodities, DTE presentation saying they are looking at Australian acquisitions...
