Have decided to leave SAV for now and sold my small holding at a marginal gain.
Possibly bad timing, as chart still looking okay, but the latest announcement re Chairman does not sit well in terms of governance - particularly bearing in mind the actions of Savcor in regards to first listing FACE then reacquiring it via Cencorp at a much discounted price. Also your comment re Cencorp price.
It seems to me that there is plenty of value in SAV, but that management may have their own agenda as to how that value is realised. I hope I am wrong - in theory, this share should be about twice the current price, but still carries a lot of risk around financing. Combined with questions over management, I am going to leave it for now - at least until the risk around results and/or financing has abated.
