You?re right about it pays to have a good broker; I have 6 (not all "good" - but each serve a particular purpose).
BUT, please don't use "good broker" in same breath as "Hartly's"; they're cowboys at best. why do you think SP has gone down since new shares issued? Hartly's big clients & their friendly instos generally just dump shares, as they appear to be doing again this time. I've seen them sell down to a 1c profit; they don't care. Take the quick profit & run.

I've been in other stocks where Hartlys do placements & it's ALWAYS the same.

Let's hope as FML grow larger, they can attract a genuine "good" broker, so we don't see this again.
